Advancing Human-Relevant Science and Qualification-Ready Next-Generation Non-Animal Testing Methods

Transcell Biologics was pleased to participate in the workshop on “In-Vitro Non-Animal Testing Approaches in Biomedical Research and Quality Evaluation of Pharmaceuticals,” held from 6–8 October 2026 at the National Institute of Biologicals (NIB), Noida. Representing Transcell Biologics, Dr. S. Dravida, Founder & CEO, and Dr. V. Dasari, Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), presented the innovative approach to “Animal-Free Vaccine Neurovirulence Testing,” highlighting the potential of the company’s proprietary DART (Digital Animal Replacement Technology) platform to transform vaccine safety evaluation.

The invited participation demonstrated how human-relevant MicroPhysiological Platforms, integrated with advanced biological analytics and AI-driven interpretation, can provide a scientifically meaningful framework for assessing vaccine-associated neurovirulence without relying exclusively on conventional animal models. Engaging with scientists, regulatory experts, and industry stakeholders, Transcell Biologics emphasized the importance of developing robust, reproducible, and regulatory-relevant New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) for pharmaceutical quality and safety evaluation.

The participation reinforced Transcell Biologics’ commitment to accelerating the transition from animal-dependent testing toward predictive, human-centric biomedical science, supporting India’s growing leadership in next-generation pharmaceutical innovation.
